What is inside
Every object you vacuum makes a sound: a crumb is tiny, a sock is louder, a pillow is a big BOOM. The closer you are to the cat, the louder it sounds to him. Furniture between you and the cat muffles the noise. The noise gauge goes down by itself: waiting is a strategy. The cat warns you: an ear twitches, then he stretches... at 5 notches he wakes up. He wakes up, swats the robot, and you try again right away, for free. The cat is never hurt.
The robot grows as the room gets cleaner and can swallow bigger things. Once it is big, it can push the sofa or the coffee table to build a wall of quiet between you and the cat. Clean far away first, grow, move the furniture, finish close to him.
